Birds of Paradise

(denim vest - GAP, bralet - Fruit of the Loom, skirt/sarong - Forever 21, bag - Michael Kors, necklace - American Eagle Outfitters, sunglasses - Versace, sandals - Steve Madden)

I was on my way out to a good friend's birthday and decided to go with this outfit since it's still summer weather here in LA but in the evenings, it can get a little breezy. The long skirt/sarong has this sexy slit that shows a little leg (though I'm showing more leg than necessary in the pics) and allows a little airflow in case it gets a little hot. The print is funky and tropical, plus the length of the skirt is perfect. I love denim and the vest was  perfect to add as a layer and for an extra edge. At first I was just wearing this grey sports bra-ish looking thing because I couldn't find a crop top to go with it, but last minute I dug up a tight tank top the same color and changed into that for a little more coverage. Accessories are always a must and I love doorknocker earrings. These heartshaped earrings are super flattering. I feel like it slims my face...? The chain is from an American Eagle Outfitters sale; silver bangles are from Kenneth Cole at a Nordstroms Rack, gold link bracelet is from F21, and the rose gold plumeria bracelet is from a street vendor on my trip to Hawaii that I bought as a souvenir. The sandals were from Marshalls and I absolutely love them; I wear them all the time. All my shit is old but a girl on a budget has gotta make it work the best with what she has right??? The Versace shades (style#VE2120) are my latest splurge. They were back-ordered and discontinued but I managed to hunt them down until they were mine...muahAHaha! It was a proud moment.

    1. Hi, W!
Sorry for the late reply, but I bought the last pair from the Versace store in South Coast Plaza.
I love them so much, I hope you find them! Good luck!
