Happy 2015!

Happy New Year!

I can't believe that another year has gone by! So much has changed since this time last year. It's amazing how much things can change within 365 days. 2014 was not an easy year for me, but it taught me a lot about myself. 2014 in a nutshell: I took some time off work, I went to school, got to do some traveling, went to a lot of shows/concerts, moved in with my sister, made new friends, reestablished relationships with family, got a new job, got a pet pig, and found love again. The lowest of the year was the loss of our beloved dog Puppy. She was a sweet girl and was my dad's best friend, and she is sorely missed. I hope 2015 will be full of nothing but highs and is full of new and exciting lessons and adventures.

For NYE, a group of us went to Let's Party at the Plaza Hotel. Great music, great company, dancing, and open bar...we had a lot of fun. My favorite part was the moment after the countdown, when I got to kiss my boyfriend and celebrate with those around me. I was really excited to carry my new Proenza Schouler bag that HT got me for Christmas. And the coat kept me and my legs nice and warm on that cold winter night.

cut out pumps

Needed a pair of black pumps for a night out and snatched up this pair of pumps from Zara's AW14 collection. They still need to be broken in as it was a bit narrow for my feet, but very sexy and serves its purpose.

Come to mama!

Ordered this baby today.
I just fell in love with it when I saw it.
Comes in tan and white, but let's be real: nothing beats black.

Last month, I went to the Getty Center for my interior design class project. The Getty Center, designed by Richard Meier, is based on two regulating grids corresponding to a nearby freeway and the geological ridges that run through the site. You can see the grids running throughout the walls, floors, etc. I took wayyy more pictures than this but these are just a select few. It was a beautiful day and we spent most of it outside taking pictures of all the buildings and focusing on all the architecture.

Hello!
We've been having some lovely weather here in Southern California, however it's also been a bit bizarre. I took these last Sunday when it was still really warm, but just the past couple days it has gone back to being cold. Anyways, the warmth allowed for me to wear this lacy crop top. I know, everyone and their moms own this stupid top, but I swear I bought it long before it started being seen it everywhere! I've been in to crop tops lately, but I have yet to acquire a decent range of high waist jeans to balance out the skin exposure. Regardless, as you can see, I did not care this day. In fact, I had just gotten back from shopping to buy even more crop tops! Summer just can't come soon enough! =)

Boy, time sure does go by fast. It's already April!
These past couple of weekends, we've been trying to find a new place for my sister. Checking out apartments and homes is actually pretty amusing.

It's been chilly these past few days but today it was nice and warm so we went to have one of my favorite meals for a hot day: cold buck wheat noodle (called Neng Myun in Korean) with a side of short rib meat (called Joo Moo Luck). I LOVE Korean food and this really hit the spot. We went to this spot in Koreatown called Chilbomyunok and I would definitely go back just for this.

Next week is Coachella! I'm so excited! Weekend 1, here I come!
